How the calculation works

Annual supply estimate = annual kWh × supply rate in cents ÷ 100 + 12 × monthly supplier fee. The difference is the current estimate minus the proposed estimate.

Assumes constant rates and the same annual consumption in both scenarios. Excludes delivery, demand charges, taxes, termination charges, and any other amounts not entered. Check whether either quoted rate excludes costs included in the other.
