Oregon Electricity Deregulation Guide
Oregon allows eligible commercial customers to shop for electricity from a licensed competitive supplier. Delivery stays with the regulated utility, including Portland General Electric (PGE) and Pacific Power; the Oregon Public Utility Commission oversees supplier licensing and market rules. Oregon Direct Access is open only to qualifying large-load customers within PGE and Pacific Power territory, subject to PUC-administered enrollment rules. It is not a general marketplace for typical commercial accounts.
