Nevada commercial accounts may be able to evaluate competitive electricity supply. The service address and utility bill determine which rules, products, and suppliers can apply.
Under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 704B, only qualifying large commercial and industrial customers may apply to the PUCN for permission to leave NV Energy bundled service, typically subject to an impact fee. This option is not available to typical small or mid-size businesses.
